Editorial policy
This page explains how Digital Dentistry creates and stands behind its content. We take accuracy and transparency seriously because our readers make real purchasing and clinical-workflow decisions based on what we publish.
Use of AI and human governance
Many of our articles are produced with AI assistance and then governed by human editors. Our workflow drafts content against a fixed editorial style guide, grounds claims in recent, reputable sources, and runs an automated fact-check and brand-safety review before anything is published. Articles carry an on-page note when they are AI-assisted. AI helps us cover a fast-moving field daily; it does not remove our responsibility for what we publish.
Sourcing and fact-checking
Every article cites at least one source and links out to primary and authoritative references — manufacturer documentation, peer-reviewed research, regulatory filings and established trade press. Where specifications, prices or availability change frequently, we date the claim and update it as needed. Product details should always be confirmed with the manufacturer before purchase.
Editorial independence
Digital Dentistry is editorially independent. We don't sell placement in our articles, comparisons or verdicts, and no vendor receives favourable treatment. Products are covered on the merits. If any commercial relationship ever applied to a specific article, we would disclose it clearly on that page.
Not medical advice
Digital Dentistry covers dental technology and practice operations for industry professionals. Our content is informational and is not medical, clinical or financial advice, and it is not directed at patients. Clinicians remain responsible for clinical judgement and for following the instructions and regulatory guidance applicable to any device or software.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it promptly and transparently, updating the article's "last updated" date. Reach the editorial team at editorial@digitaldentistry.example.
Authorship
Articles are attributed to the Digital Dentistry editorial team unless a named author or clinical reviewer is credited. We do not attribute content to fictional experts. When a named clinician reviews an article, their credentials are shown on the article and on their author page.
